If you're interested in playing Fantasy Football, but can never find the time in your busy, time-poor, life to keep up with all the maintenance required to give yourself any kind of chance of competing in any of the mainstream Fantasy Football competitions run by the big newspapers, then you've come to the right place!!
Founded in the late 1990's specifically as a low maintenance form of the popular fantasy football game by a small group of work colleagues and friends who wanted all the fun of the game but without the heavy administrative overhead of having to make transfers week in and week out, the game has progressed from it's humble beginnings as a weekly emailed spreadsheet update, into a full blown, fully automated, custom website which cuts out all the hassle of running your team and playing the game.
The concept is simple...you chose your team at the beginning of the season using a simple to use interface...there are 3 transfer windows during the season which allow you to refresh you team by tranferring up to 3 players during each window....and that's about it...sit back and watch how your team fares week by week. There are monthly prizes to play for as well as a hefty end of season prize pot for the overall winners.
The fun doesn't end there as there's also the recently added GFFL Sixer weekly results prediction game to play, as well as predictor games based around the main international football tournaments, eg. World Cup and European Championships!
The rewards may be a little more modest than those of the mainstream Fantasy Football competitions, but the chances of winning a prize are far greater!! We also cater for anyone wanting to play just for fun on a FreePlay basis!
